18th International Herceg Novi Comic Festival (HSF), this year's eagerly awaited, eighteenth edition, will take place at several locations in Herceg Novi and Boka Kotorska, from September 6 to 11.
With the participation of around 100 authors, including 12 renowned world artists, and an impressively content program, which includes exhibitions, numerous workshops for young talents and a rich music program, this cultural spectacle will exceed the expectations of lovers of the ninth art.
The most popular destination for comic fans in Southeast Europe, during the six festival days, will host the world's most famous comic artists, as well as numerous established regional authors, as many as 100 of them. The special guests of the festival are: Nina Vakueva, Jenika Loffreda, Matyáš Namai, Damijan Stepančić, Jordi Tarragona, Tony Sandoval, Matteo Alemanno, Gene Ha, Éric Hérenguel, Anna Morozova, Tanino Liberatore, Jill Thompson.
The evening hours of the favorite comics festival are traditionally reserved for attractive concerts, parties and various musical programs. All programs are free.
The largest event in this area, dedicated to the ninth art, aims to educate and popularize comics, and is intended for audiences of all ages.
Permanent partners of the Herceg Novi Strip Festival are the Municipality of Herceg Novi, the Tourist Organization of Herceg Novi, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Montenegro and the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Montenegro.
