On Friday, May 9, another magnificent event called "Fortress Night" will be held at the Forte Mare fortress, as part of the "Fortitude" project.
The event, whose slogan this year is "Goes Green", connects cultural heritage with environmental responsibility, using the event as a platform to raise awareness of green and sustainable tourism.
A rich and meaningful program brings:
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m
- Lecture by archaeologist Željko Starčević on the history of fortresses
20:00 hours
- Presentation of local artisans, performance of knights, food prepared in the old fashioned way
9:00 p.m
- Concert of the Alt Capella Ensemble
Music of the Middle Ages and Renaissance (12th - 16th centuries), musicians perform on authentic, hand-made instruments of that period, dressed in historical costumes.
