
The National Tourism Organization of Montenegro (NTO CG) continues with the initiative of awarding the quality mark "Montenegro Quality" (MQ) and invites all entities from the field of tourism, catering and related activities to apply for this prestigious mark.
NTO Montenegro points out that the goal of this initiative is to improve tourist services and affirm Montenegro as an attractive destination throughout the year, providing unique experiences to visitors.
Possession of the MQ mark enables subjects to stand out on the market, achieve continuous promotion through the activities of the NTO of Montenegro and its communication channels, increase recognition among tourists, and receive additional valuation through incentive measures of the NTO of Montenegro.
They remind that in the first round of awarding the quality mark, this prestigious mark was awarded to 27 tourist entities that met the prescribed criteria, and in the course of this year, the awarding of new tourist entities will continue.
NTO CG strives for this label to become a key standard for quality certification in tourism. Various entities in tourism can apply for the MQ mark, including: hotels and catering establishments for accommodation and food, camps, ethnic villages, museums, SPA centers, galleries, ski resorts, travel agencies, airports, national parks, local producers, and many more others.
MQ marks are awarded in three levels, based on prescribed criteria:
Gold: fulfilled 85% and more of the maximum number of points,
Silver: fulfilled 70-85% of the maximum number of points,
Bronze: fulfilled 55-70% of the maximum number of points.
