The caravan of the 56th Mimosa Festival will parade in Podgorica on Sunday, February 9.
With the performance of the Herceg Novi City Music, a large ensemble of majorettes, trombonists and members of the NGO Maskare, they will announce to the citizens and guests of Podgorica the folk festivities, cultural, entertainment, sports and numerous other programs that await us in Herceg Novi from February 14 to March 2.
From 16:00 to 18:00, promotional activities are planned at Independence Square, and the festive parade of colorful processions will start at 17:00 from Njegoševa Street, along Bokeška Street to Independence Square.
This will be an opportunity to present Podgorica in an original and recognizable way the carnival atmosphere of the biggest winter tourist manifestation, with the longest tradition in Montenegro.
This year's Mimosa Festival was organized under the slogan "Herceg Novi is calling - festival, sun, sea", and the organizers are the Municipality of Herceg Novi, the Tourist Organization of Herceg Novi and the Public Cultural Institution Herceg Fest, with the support of numerous sponsors and friends of the festival.
