TOHN presents the tourism offer of the city at the Alpe Adria 2025 Fair in Ljubljana

The tourist organization Herceg Novi, as the organizer of this year's appearance of Montenegro at the Alpe Adria 2025 Fair in Ljubljana, together with the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro, local tourist organizations of Nikšić, Žabljak, Kolašin, Andrijevica and Mojkovac, presents the city's rich tourist offer from January 29 to February 1.

The Alpe Adria Fair, with a rich tradition spanning 35 years, is a key event for all lovers of travel and nature. This fair gathers leading domestic and international exhibitors specialized in active, cultural, gastronomic and sustainable tourism, and every year it attracts more than 20,000 visitors who can explore new destinations in one place. There is a special focus on green and responsible tourism, as well as opportunities for active vacations in nature, which makes this fair an unmissable event for all those who strive for authentic and environmentally conscious travel.

"The Tourism Fair in Ljubljana represents a significant presentation of Montenegro as one of the most beautiful tourist destinations, which we truly are. The Alpe Adria Fair is an important address from which the increase in the number of tourists from the friendly country of Slovenia, as well as from other EU countries, can be animated.

This is an opportunity to exchange experiences and good practices with other tourist organizations present at the fair", said the Ambassador of Montenegro to Slovenia, Dragan Tufegdžić.

The stand of Herceg Novi was also visited by the director of the Novo Mesto Development Center, Franci Bratkovič, with whom TOHN successfully implemented the EU project Wonder within the Interreg Adrion program, and after that, prepared several project applications for the programs available to us. He expressed his satisfaction that this year we presented ourselves in the best way on the Slovenian market. "For us, Herceg Novi is known mostly for the sea, but when we visit it, we realize that it offers much more than that: a very rich cultural and historical heritage, Mount Orjen with numerous marked hiking and cycling trails. The most important thing is that the people in this city are extremely hospitable and kind," he said.

Petar Irman, vice president of the Association of Tourist Journalists of Slovenia, expressed significant interest in revisiting and promoting Boka Kotorska in Slovenia.

In addition to active tourism, with an emphasis on the Orjen Nature Park and the Luštica Peninsula, the Herceg Novi Tourist Organization also highlights the upcoming 56th Mimosa Festival.

The Montenegrin stand was among the most visited, and visitors showed interest in an active holiday in nature, as well as in a unique combination of coastal and mountain destinations.

The Slovenian market is of particular importance for Montenegro, and promotional activities will continue in the coming period through media campaigns and participation in specialized events, such as the Conventa fair at the end of February, where special attention will be devoted to the development of MICE tourism and attracting business visitors to Montenegro.
