PARKING LOT

GENERAL PARKING LOT

These parking lots are located in the frontal part of the streets from Igal to Meljin and are marked with appropriate traffic signals with parking notice boards and are divided into four zones: Purple, I (red), II (blue) and III (yellow) ) zone. They are characterized by the difference in the price of parking.

Within these zones, the parking lots are also divided into microzones that apply only to subscribers.

Purple zone is active during the summer parking fee regime. It is located in the streets of the strict center of Herceg Novi, which practice has shown to be the busiest locations. Parking in the purple zone is not time-limited, which means that parking users are given the opportunity to pay for parking for as many hours as they want.

Payment is calculated by the hour and is done by sending an SMS (14516), buying a kiosk ticket or buying a ticket at a parking meter.

The red zone is located in the streets of the center of Herceg Novi, i.e. streets near post offices, banks and the like. Parking in the red zone is not time-limited, which means that parking users are given the opportunity to pay for parking for as many hours as they want.

Payment is calculated by the hour and is done by sending an SMS (14510), buying a kiosk ticket or buying a ticket at a parking meter.

The Blue Zone is located in the streets of the strict center of Igalo. Parking in the blue zone is not time-limited, which means that parking users are given the opportunity to pay for parking for as many hours as they want.

Payment is also calculated by the hour and is done by sending an SMS (14511), buying a kiosk ticket or buying a ticket at a parking meter.

The yellow zone includes parts of streets with less traffic, it is not time-limited, and payment is calculated per hour, by sending an SMS (14512), buying a kiosk ticket or buying tickets at the parking meter. In this zone, you can also buy a daily ticket that is valid for the whole day, which can also be bought by SMS (14513), at a kiosk or a parking meter.

Parking is charged:
- in the period from 01.10. – 01.06., every day, except Sunday, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.,
- in the period from 01.06. – 01.07. and from 01.09. – 01.10., every day, except Sunday, from 7 a.m. to midnight,
- in the period from 01.07. – 01.09., every day from 7 a.m. to midnight.

SPECIAL PARKING LOT

"Parking service Herceg Novi" d.o.o. Herceg Novi also has public parking lots where parking is controlled by an automated system of ramps, and payment is made at self-payment stations:
- Igalo, Norveska street, has 100 parking spaces
– The municipality, Trg Maršala Tita, has 170 parking spaces

"Parking service Herceg Novi" d.o.o. Herceg Novi also has temporary parking lots with an automated system of ramps and self-payment stations:
- Topla, under the traffic lights on Topla, has 130 parking spaces
- Škver, Partizanski Put, has 95 parking spaces - Savina, Branka Ćopića, has 50 parking spaces

MODE OF PAYMENT

SMS

The SMS parking payment service allows the user to pay for the parking service in a simple and quick way. It is only necessary to send a message with the mark and number of the car license plate, without spaces and other special characters (eg HNAC752). The message can be sent from all currently active networks of mobile operators in Montenegro (+38267, +38268, +38269).

Depending on the zone in which you are located, a message with the above-mentioned content is sent to one of five numbers:

14516 – PURPLE ZONE (UNLIMITED)
14510 – RED ZONE (UNLIMITED)
14511 – BLUE ZONE (UNLIMITED)
14512 – ZONE YELLOW (UNLIMITED)
14513 – DAILY TICKET, ZONE YELLOW (VALID FOR PAID PARKING DATE)

After sending the correct message, you will receive a return notification about the successful payment and purchased ticket via SMS message containing a specially generated ticket number for the entered vehicle registration number, zone, as well as the time until which the paid parking is valid. This message serves as an official confirmation that parking has been successfully paid for the specified vehicle and period. A few minutes before the end of the paid parking, you will receive a message reminding you that the parking time has expired for entering the registration number and zone, so that you can extend the parking or remove the vehicle in a timely manner.

If the content of the message is not sent in the required form, the system sends a return message with an error notification and an example for resending the correct message (in case of spaces or special characters – / * etc.).

If the system is not working for any reason, and there is no response after sending a message, or you receive information via SMS that the system is not working, you are obliged to pay for the service in another way.

PARKING TICKET

Parking tickets can be purchased at kiosks and other sales facilities along the streets with parking lots, which have a prominent sale notice. According to the instructions for use, which is highlighted on the back of the parking ticket, the user is obliged to:

• Indicate (circle, cross out or punch out) the year, month and day in which you use the parking lot, and the hour and minute when the parking lot started.
• Visibly (face up) display this map on the inside of the front windshield.

TICKET PURCHASED AT PARKING METERS

Parking lot users can pay for parking by purchasing a parking ticket at one of the 5 parking meters located at the following locations:

• Across from Solemar in Igalo (Youth Parks),
• Next to the City Tavern in Herceg Novi (across from Bife Beograd),
• Near Tonsati in Herceg Novi (next to the bus stop),
• In X Hercegovačka Street in Herceg Novi (between the Kanli tower and the main bus station) and
• Between the streets I Bokeška brigade and Stijep Šarenc.

Payment is made according to the instructions displayed on the parking meter, and the user is obliged to display the purchased parking ticket visibly on the inside of the front windshield.

SUBSCRIPTION CARD

A preferential subscription parking ticket can be obtained by residents of streets directed to the street of the charging regime or legal entities whose facilities are located on the street of the charging regime.

MICROZONES

Microzones refer to preferential parking tickets for tenants of parking fee streets or legal entities thereof. Parking for tenants or legal entities who have a privileged subscription parking ticket is possible only with the attached complete necessary documentation and Application, and within the microzone, which represents a part of the zone that is located next to the place of residence or the location of the business premises and usually includes 30-50 parking spaces. Issuing a subscription ticket does not imply a reservation or a guarantee for a free parking space. The subscription card can be taken for a period of at least one month and includes a subscription from the first to the last day of the month. Parking outside the assigned microzone of the subscriber is charged according to the regular hourly billing system.

ORDER FOR THE PAYMENT OF THE DAILY TICKET

In the event that the user does not pay for parking in one of the offered ways or exceeds the time until which he had paid for parking, an order is issued for the payment of a daily ticket. The user is obliged to pay the issued order for the daily ticket within 8 days.

The daily ticket can be paid at any post office or bank in Montenegro or at the premises of the Company.

In the payment order, in the "purpose of payment" column, enter the day ticket for and the registration number to which it refers, in the "name of the payee" enter Parking service Herceg Novi, in the "amount" =10.00=, in the " transaction account of the payee" enter one of the Company's giro accounts, in the "call for approval number\" enter the six-digit number from the upper right corner of the daily ticket.
