Its objective is to establish Herceg Novi as a leading destination, emphasizing the expansion of tourism options and positioning it as a dynamic vacation spot. Tourism Organisation of Herceg-Novi additionally provides support, organization, and funding for significant tourist, cultural, sports events in the city, recognizing their importance and impact. While the primary tourist season typically occurs during the summer, TOHN actively engages in various promotional activities for the city during the pre and post-seasons. Additionally, it encourages diversification, urging visitors to explore not only the coastal areas but also the scenic mountain region nerby and secluded off-the-beaten-path locations. From a geographical standpoint, the town occupies a strategic location at the entrance of the Boka Bay, along the picturesque Adriatic Sea. Nestled at the foot of the magnificent Orjen mountain, which is home to the Nature Park Orjen, it boasts all the essential elements to establish itself as a captivating year-round tourist destination. TOHN has a well-established department dedicated to the development and execution of project applications, which has demonstrated remarkable success over the course of several years.
